My June Holidays My holidays were basically a drag for me. I have to get up from bed as though it was a normal school day, almost thrice a week to go to school for CCA. Every morning, my eyes would be too lethargic to even open. But I have to force myself. So anyway, if not for CCA, I would stay at home and face the computer screen. I'd either play computer games or found to be bloghopping. Basically my 2009 June Holidays didn't turn out to be quite exciting. However, I had a Band Camp for 4 days and 3 nights. The objective of the camp is basically for the juniors to bond with the seniors. It was a fun experience, especially the night walk. Initially, I thought that it'd be very scary till it made goosebumps all over my skin. But, actually it was not. The only sound were some whispering and screams that filled the whole atmosphere. I'm looking forward to next year's camp! H1N1 Flu Outbreak This flu really scares people out. Singapore had its first case from a local who has recently came back from an affected country on 27 May '09. It really put on an alert to the MOH. Now, Singapore has already had 800 over cases. Personally, I think that almost all the patients who are affected had been to other affected countries before. So, I think the flu spreads not locally, but it is imported from other countries. I would take the safety precautions so that I'll not be infected from this dangerous flu. Also, I would avoid from going to crowded places. E.g: Going to the cinema e.t.c These are just some examples of having social responsibility. |
